In 2003 Karin Koch graduated at the Cape Town Hotel School. She gained valuable experience in her role as Operations Manager at the Cape Town Hotel School as well as other 5 star establishments. She is passionate about organising and coordinating great events, conferences and weddings. Karin has vast and extensive experience in the service industry.
Her long pedigree in training and restaurant operations and her love for food and wine makes Karin a perfect trainer.
A large portion of current training projects include custom made courses for restaurants, wine farms and academic institutions.
Clients are Tygerberg College, Boland College in Paarl as well as Stellenbosch, The Cape Town Hotel School and various fine Restaurants in Cape Town and the Winelands. Her courses are tailor made according to the customers requirements and the students skill levels.
Karin’s passion is good food, wine and the fine art in which it is presented and served to the guest. She enjoys being enthusiastic and positive in what she does and loves to make a positive difference. Providing excellence to her clients and always deliver more than they expect is her goal.
Besides training and consulting Karin is the Director of Welgemeend Function and Conference Venue in Cape Town.
